Wedding Photography at Holland Hall : Damian & Sarah
Our second wedding at Holland Hall in as many weeks this time for the wedding of Damian & Sarah on another gorgeous day, we have been quite lucky with the weather gods lately and as we met a very excited Sarah & her girls getting ready, handing out gifts & drinking champagne you felt that we were in for a great day. After a nervous but gorgeous ceremony Sarah slipped into a very fashionable pair of wellies... yes wellies, well she did ask for something different on the photography at her wedding, and so onto some nearby woods & rapeseed field to shoot some stunning images of the new Mr & Mrs.
Some nice words.... Thank you
Thank you for the nice words they really do make our job worthwhile.... but more importantly they make us smile :)

Holland Hall Wedding Photography : Michael & Katie
Summer finally arrived for Michael & Katies Wedding at one of my fave churches, the beautiful St Wilfrids in Standish. MICHAEL was his usual cools self and so was Katie... until she saw the Scottish Piper Michael had arranged as a surprise. Holland Hall has gone through a few changes recently including a new chef (one of our grooms no less) and provided a perfect backdrop for a great day.
Thanks again to Michael & Katie for the fun Dx
West Tower Wedding Photography: Gareth & Joanne
West Tower in Aughton is one of my all time fave wedding venues add to that a great Bride & Groom in the gorgeous Gareth & Joanne then images like these are easy. One of the best parts of their wedding was meeting up with past Bride & Grooms & friends, these are the little things that make our job worthwhile.I have to say the staff at West Tower are fantastic and the day ran so smoothly and Gareth & Joanne where a joy to photograph and made for some special images. I hope you like as much as I do.
Mitton Hall Wedding Photography : James & Melanie
Over the last 12 months or so both Jane & I have had so much involvement with James & Melanie that it did feel like a friends wedding. We arrived at a beautiful, remote cottage where Melanie was with her bridesmaids & Family, a real den of tranquility I went on to meet James at the gorgeous Mitton Hall and what turned out to be a fantastic, emotional wedding of two people VERY much in love, even the rain didn't spoil the day. Both James & Melanie value just how important good photographs are, after all its all that is left of the day and with this in mind I was spoiled with a stunning couple in a stunning surroundings and photos to match. One thing I do have to say is how well Mitton Hall (well Dave) run weddings, the hospitality and attention to detail is superb... and the food, all I can say is any seconds :)
Thanks to James & Mel for a superb day and providing me with some fantastic shots Dx
Thornton Manor Wedding Photography : Farrah & Zia Part 3
Following on from Part 2 as guest chatted and tasted the scrumptious Indian canapés (yes they where delish) Farrah left to change into Dress Number 3, I have to say I knew the dress would be special but nothing prepared me for the beauty & detail in Farrahs dress, all I could say was WOW… a few times.
This was our first Indian wedding, the colours, the atmosphere, the food, the emotion I really hope to shoot another very soon, to say I love the images from Farrah & Zia’s is an understatement.
Thanks to Zia,Farrah and both families for their hospitality and allowing us to be part of a fantastic event. D&J x
