Weddings in Lancashire are always a treat add to that a fab couple & venue and you can't go wrong. It was such an honour to be Jonathan & Lauren's Wrightington Hotel Wedding Photographer as the day was fantastic. We met Jonathan at the beautiful Dalton Church with his Bestman & Ushers definitely intent on having a great day, they were great characters as the guests arrived. The arrival of the Bride is always a special moment at a wedding and it was lovely to see Lauren's face light up as she walked to the church with her very proud Dad.Dalton Church is gorgeous inside with its candle lit altar perfect for atmospheric wedding photographs and outside its amazing with a small wooded area & pond perfect for Wedding Photography. We are proud to be the recommended wedding photographers for Wrightington Hotel and the hotel has a fab team on hand for weddings and the room was amazing, great work & vision by Lauren, everything was perfect all ready for a wonderful meal & really funny speeches after with a few surprises from Jonathans Brother in his role as Bestman... some stories I think Jonathan had preferred stayed forgotten. The Bridal suite at the hotel is really cool for the low light shots we took before the party really started with great action on the dance floor. Wrightington Hotel Wedding Photography - Viv & Steven

Wrightington Hotel is a gorgeous modern hotel, great interiors and loads of scope for outdoor shots and the Bridal suite is stunning, so glad that Viv booked it to get ready in. When Jane & I arrived the bridesmaids were excited to say the least and through a secret window they watched Steven & his entourage arrive( you could hear the cheers from reception lol)The weather was glorious, and made Vivs dream of a 'wedding abroad' come true as the gardens looked stunning in the sunshine as we shot some amazing images by the lake. Viv & Steven's theme was colourful & the Blazers Suite at Wrightington Hotel was amazing,full of colour. Three very nervous but funny speeches followed to continue the day and as we partied into the evening a fabulous sunset was the 'icing on the cake' to end a perfect day.

Lisa & Andrews Wedding at Halsall & Wrightington Hotel

Well after a crazy few weeks (more about this soon) finally we get to Blog the gorgeous wedding of Lisa & Andrew at St Cuthberts Church in Halsall, Merseyside and their reception at Wrightington Hotel in the countryside near Wigan.After all the snow that we had had the sun was out for the big day and just as well we had arranged to go to Scarisbrick Hall School for photography and this made for some beautiful shots. Jane started with Lisa & the girls in make up and I met Andrew at the church. St Cuthberts has one of the nicest vicars I have met, a real pleasure & gave a fun & emotional ceremony. Lisa & Andrew never stopped smiling and even as the day turned windy they still smiled & looked amazing. The two Pageboys were stars of the day, a real double act The ceremony got a little emotional at times.... I love the look they are giving each other on this image,its pure love This is my favourite image of the day, it just sums up their happiness Speeches time.....
