Farington Lodge with its beautiful Gardens and many backdrops is a gorgeous Lancashire Wedding Venue and we are so glad that Heather & David booked us as their Farington Lodge Wedding Photographer. The day started very calm & relaxed at Heathers parents house, had a crazy moment as I met David at a local pub and then ended with a gorgeous sunny wedding, full of fun & laughter. Heather & David were an absolute joy to photograph very much in love and their faces lit up as we shot some creative wedding photographs in the gardens at Farington Lodge. I have to say one of our favourite parts of the day was the speeches, well done to Heathers Dad,David and the Bestmen for  their hilarious speeches Thanks to Heather,David and their family & friends for a great day. Wedding Photography at Farrington Lodge: Rebecca & Ged

I love weddings at this time of year, the gorgeous autumnal colours & light make for great images. Rebecca & Ged really were a joy to photograph even if Ged was a little nervous (its the speech you know, you brides really dont understand ;)) The ceremony was held at St Matthews Church and the reception at Farrington Lodge in nearby Leyland and with a matching autumnal colour scheme the venue looked stunning.

phew... a crazy few weeks have past since Simon & Kate's wedding at Farrington Lodge in Leyland but I am still chuckling at the laughter on the day. The day started with the ceremony at St Wilfrids Church in Standish, this is one beautiful church with lots of history & also one of my fave churches then as we arrived at Farrington Lodge and where greeted with music, kids entertainer & ice creams (actually very good ice creams) great speeches topped of a great wedding thoroughly enjoyed by us all.

An Autumn Wedding at Farington Lodge,Leyland

I was recently asked when was my favourite time of the year to which I answered ‘Autumn’, but why? Well not only are the colours truly amazing, the lighting gorgeous but I am also a pretty impatient bloke & in autumn you don’t have to wait long for the light to change from sun to sunset,overcast to moody.
Now don’t get me wrong shooting weddings in autumn can be a challenge, but then its challenges that take my photography forward.
Ian & Lorraine’s wedding had the one other thing that makes weddings perfect ‘atmosphere’ and bags of it, starting with an emotional ceremony & ending on a real fun get together with all their friends & family. Their wedding took place at Farington Lodge in Leyland, a venue I hadn’t been for quite a while. The colours in the garden where beautiful & made for a special backdrop for a special day.
