This was a very special wedding for 2 reasons first Michael & Kelly are fab people and great fun to be around also their wedding was on our wedding anniversary and at Kilhey Court Hotel the hotel we got married at (er think it was 13 or 14 years ago??) so what better way to spend our anniversary than reliving all the emotion of our fantastic wedding AT another fantastic wedding. We are so glad that Michael & Kelly chose us as their Kilhey Court Wedding Photographers as it is one of our fave venues and only around the corner from where we live. What a gorgeous sunny day, perfect for a wedding and as Kelly walked up the aisle Michael had a lump in his throat (she looked stunning) and as the sun shone drinks were served on the well manicured hotel lawns. During the meal both Jane & I were treated to a wonderful surprise a private table for two to have our meal, with our own waiter (how sweet was that) and the day was topped of with a glorious sunset, what more could you ask for... a brilliant end to a brilliant day. It consisted of the fairytale Peckforton Castle, amazing details, classic car collection and ended with a fabulous Garden party with guests & entertainers from all over the world. Sarah & Akos wedding was one of the most emotional weddings we have ever photographed as they both work on cruise ships and this was one of the rare occasions that all their family & friends were together in one location. I am so glad that they booked Jane & I as their Mytton Fold Wedding Photographer as it is a wonderful wedding venue and the staff are super helpful. Sarah & her crazy bridesmaids were a great laugh as Jane grabbed a few 'getting ready' shots & I met in famous Chiggar (the Bestman) boy this guy is funny and gave a great best mans speech. This wedding was a case of England (Sarah) marrying Hungary (Akos) and with both families present it was fab to see the two cultures mix, even with Akos giving two speeches one Hungarian, one English... oh and to top that Sarah said her vows in Hungarian. The gardens at Mytton Fold are perfect for wedding photography and close by so you never leave your guests, and we grabbed some gorgeous images of a beautiful couple very much in love. Heres to the new Mr & Mrs Hanko.
