Peckforton Castle Wedding Photographers - David & Gillian's Wedding
Gillian always wanted a fairytale wedding and all fairytales have a castle and what better castle for a wedding than Peckforton Castle, set in stunning forest its one of Cheshire's most exclusive wedding venues. We were so excited when David & Gillian booked us as their Peckforton Castle Wedding Photographers as its one of our favourite Cheshire Wedding Venues and its such an amazing place to photograph. Its always interesting when we arrive at a wedding venue to photograph the Bride getting ready as you see all the other wedding suppliers running around setting things up and then when you enter the Bridal Suite its a picture of calm(well it was when we walked into Gillian's room) she was having her make up done, the dress was ready and everybody was excited for the day ahead. David & the lads had their own room to get ready in and then on to the main event.... The great hall is truly a stunning place to get married in, for us photographers I love the light that floods through the impressive windows and after as drinks were served we wandered around the grounds for photos, at one point we were shooting around derelict buildings and thick woodland, gotta love couples who want something different for their wedding images and as professionals it pushes us also :) The speeches were brilliant even including a song written & performed by David himself before we all went back into the Great Hall for an amazing band, fab lighting & smoke machine to start the party of all parties. Dancing, laughing, drinking what an amazing night it turned into. A huge thanks to David & Gillian for their wonderful hospitality and allowing us to be part of their amazing wedding, here is a small selection of our fave images from the day. D&J xx
