Focus On Imaging 2012

Well what an honour, Focus On Imaging is Europes largest trade show attracting over 40,000 photographers over the 4 days and is attended by ALL the major photography companies including Canon, Nikon,Epson & of course Graphistudio the worlds largest album manufacturer, who also are the company that supply our gorgeous wedding albums.
I was asked by Graphistudio to give a presentation to the visiting photographers on how we shoot & design our wedding albums & to give an insight into why we do what we do. To say I was nervous was an understatement, but according to all the very kind emails & phone calls everybody found my presentation very informative & dare I say enlightening. This was a very special moment for Jane & myself, yes Jane aswell (she seemed to be asked more questions than I was,but then again she is the best photographer I know:)) to be recognised for your quality of work not only by other photographers but also your own industry was a new phase of our journey that we are now beginning as since the show we have had quite a few offers to not only talk about our style & approach to photography but also to instruct & teach our fellow professionals. Exciting times ahead.

Wedding Photography at Peckforton Castle: Neil & Karen

WOW... thats really all I can say about Neil & Karens wedding at the stunning Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, the whole day was amazing from start to finish,a very long day but as Jane & I drove home with a smile on our face it was well worth it, we had some fabulous images. As some of our regular blog watches will know my photography is all about light & dramatic locations so I was a kid in a sweet shop at Peckforton Castle, then throw in a stunning bride & groom who love photography almost as much as I do and BANG! the music starts. A great day all toped of by a fantastic setting for the evening & the castle lit up in all its glory.
oooh I am a happy photographer.

Wedding Photography at Mitton Hall : Steven & Sarah

A surreal moment as this our first wedding of 2012 just happened to be at Mitton Hall the same venue as our last wedding of 2011, this place is really turning into our second home (not complaining Mitton Hall is a stunning venue and the food is superb). Steven & Sarah's wedding included our first visit to Pleasington Priory a church with one of the funniest & friendliest priests I have ever met & made their service a joy. Steven & Sarah are such a joy to be around and very much 'in love' this made Jane and my job so easy, throw in some great speeches and you have all the ingredients for great wedding images. What a start to 2012.

Wedding Photography at Mitton Hall : Mark & Laura

Mark & Laura's wedding was our last of 2011 and summed the year up perfectly,gorgeous couple,great venue & great laughs. Mitton Hall was the venue and as always the staff where super helpful and the venue again looked superb cant wait for our 2012 weddings here. Its a strange feeling shooting the last wedding of the year (dont know why) but I always feel a bit nostalgic & excited for the year to come, anyway as for 2011 weddings... what a wedding to end on.
